Attached below is the "name" part of my Unified Address Format
called "YY-Address". It is part of a much larger and more thorough
draft specification, intended to be "the Mother Of All Address Formats".
It's got "tags " or cross-links to numerous postal address standards,
EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) standards, knowledge representation
"ontologies", Roget's Thesaurus, WordMenu, the STEP product description
standard, etc. This is an older draft with only a few tag-sources. It
does not have the other address fields such as organization, person-to-
organization-relation, location, electronic addresses, etc. I'm just showing
the "name" fields; these haven't changed much except for adding new tag sources.
I couldn't get my outliner to pretty-print this for email, so it looks a bit
ponderous. The "tags" are codes shown in square brackets. The actual
fields begin with a "YY" code and an asterisk.
If I have failed to account for ANY possible name, of anyone in the
world, please let me know and post corrections here.
Yours truly, Fritz Lehmann
