I think at least some of the readers of this list might be interested
in the upcoming annual HyTime Conference, in Vancouver on August
16-17.  Doug Lenat will be the keynote speaker.  HyTime is an emerging
ISO standard for representing the multiple structures of hypertext and
multimedia documents for archival and application-neutral storage and
interchange.  

I hesitate to post the conference preview here lest it be regarded as
offensive and irrelevant (i.e., spam).  I'll gladly send it to anyone
who asks (send postal address, too, if you want to be listed on the
mailing list).  It can also be retrieved from

ftp.techno.com
