Colleagues,

Many of you received a barrage of email messages from the SRKB list all at
once, and then dead air for a few weeks. Obviously we had "technical
difficulties," and I am pleased to announce that they are now fixed.
The email list has been moved to a different list server and a different site.
It is now:
***************************
      srkb@cs.umbc.edu
***************************

There is a forwarding pointer from the old address at ISI.

ARCHIVES
There is also a nice archive of all the SRKB mail, including messages from
before it was called SRKB to today. This archive is turned into a
hypertext document, and published on the world wide web (WWW). The address
of this and other email archives about knowledge sharing is

  http://ksl-web.stanford.edu/knowledge-sharing/email-archives.html

The archive includes links for conversational threads and embedded world
wide web addresses like the one above (if you were reading this from a WWW
browser you could click on that address).

I apologize for the delay in repairing our infrastructure, but the
disruption gave us an excuse to upgrade (just like an earthquake).
