As a criteria for evaluating/revising KIF, I would like
to see some focus on practical experience using it
for translation purposes. This seems to me a key test
of the utility of a language for supporting exchange
vs. representation.

Some of that work is in progress, I know. As that work
proceeds, I look forward to hearing reports/evaluations
on what features of the language seem to help or hinder
the development of translators between various classes
of representation languages.

Happy holidays and best wishes to you all for the
coming year.
