I am working on a translator shell that allows one to build
translators between representation languages. The work is not tied to
KIF, however, in the work to date, we have built a KIF <-> CLASSIC
translator and an EXPRESS -> KIF translator. We are also working on a
KIF <-> LOOM translator. The difficult translation problem is going
>From a more expressive to a less expressive language. The work is
only a year old, so our accomplishments are limited. (Thanks for
helping us be honest here Matt.)

Recently I have become interested in applying my work to translation
between databases and have been shocked by the fact that database
people don't try to represent the semantics of their databases. This
is what is needed for my approach to have a chance.

Hence, I am interested in finding out more about your work. Is there
anything you could send me? I would also be happy to tell you more
about what I am doing.
